It is located on Via Dei Pascoli and is considered the symbolic climb of the Prosecco Hills of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene, which on July 7, 2019, were recognized as aUNESCO World Heritage Site. It is a 1.1-kilometer-long climb, entirely paved, with an average gradient of 12.7% and peaks of 19%. The elevation difference is 140 meters (102 to 242 meters above sea level).
Since 2016 the Muro di Ca’ del Poggio has been twinned with the Wall of Grammont, the legendary climb of the Tour of Flanders, and since 2018 the partnership has expanded to include the Mûr-de-Bretagne, another famous climb that has made international cycling history.
On the Ca’ del Poggio Wall – the only climb certified by the Italian Cycling Federation – the Giro d’Italia has passed through seven times, the last in 2024.
