Path of Pope John XXIII
The Path of the Good Pope. The route that starts at the ancient Parish Church of San Pietro di Feletto is entitled to “St. John XXIII Pope”, due to the bond he had with the community and the territory of Feletto. Cardinal Roncalli, in fact, during the years of patriarchy in Venice, loved to spend some periods of rest and reflection in the ancient Villa near the Parish Church and to take long walks.
This naturalistic, historical, cultural and spiritual trail repeats these routes and runs in a circular pattern for approximately 4 km. The itinerary allows you to reach the small roccolo (circle of hornbeam trees) where the Cardinal stopped for a long time in meditation, to enter the woods and then to enjoy the wonderful views of the hills of the Prealps and the Alta Marca Trevigiana as well as wandering on the eastern Venetian and Friulian plain.
The Route of Val Trippera and the Villages
The Val Trippera Route represents one of the most interesting hilly itineraries for the notable insights it offers, ranging from botany to geology, fauna and the history of the places. The clear waters of the Crevada stream have shaped the surface, creating furrows and creating deep fissures and dark sinkholes. he ring starts from Piazza Giovanni XXIII where the Parish Church of San Pietro is located and descends towards the south, partly affecting the territory of Refrontolo.
Along the route you come across the “cave dea graspa”, a secluded and steep place where, once upon a time, grappa was clandestinely distilled and you come across the evocative remains of the Crevada Mill, no longer in operation. At the ruins of the former mill the route goes up towards Borgo Anese, continues beyond Borgo Castagnè and returns towards the square passing next to Borgo Frare.
The Landri and Landron Nature Trail
